Hello, nice to meet you!

My name is Stephanie C. Garcia. In a nutshell, I am a long-time public servant, educator, and perpetual student of life — a mother, patriot, traveler, writer, and photographer with a curious heart, a big imagination, and an eye for wonder (not necessarily in that order).

Having wandered the world and gathered a cornucopia of interests along the way, I find inspiration in everything from governance and history to art, science, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. This blog is my creative outlet — a place to share reflections, discoveries, and the moments of serendipity that make our world endlessly fascinating.

Scry Lens

Scry Lens is a collection of reflections, stories, and observations that seek to uncover what often goes unnoticed. It’s a space for exploring ideas that sit at the crossroads of curiosity and clarity — where art meets science, governance meets philosophy, and the visible world hints at deeper meaning.

My mission is to illuminate the often-overlooked aspects of everyday life, encouraging readers to see familiar things through a fresh perspective and to appreciate the beauty in the mundane. I believe that by exploring diverse narratives and experiences, we can enrich our understanding of the world around us. Scry Lens serves as a platform for thoughtful discourse, where stories converge to reveal the hidden layers of our existence — ultimately making the invisible visible.

Join me on this journey of discovery, as I share insights and stories that hopefully inspire curiosity and foster a greater appreciation for the complexities of life.
